Getting Started:
A thread designed for the sole purpose of helping new members getting started. This thread will include information, links and anything else you may need.
Rules and Plot:
One of the most important aspects of this board is that you get to know the rules and the plot. It will prevent you from breaking any rules, and will help you decide how your character will fit in with the storylines.
We all like to become familiar with fellow members of the board, and so I suggest that one of your first moves should be to post a small introduction here. Get to know a few other members, it'll make you feel more comfortable.
Here is where it starts to get fun. You're now ready to create or claim a character. We accept both cannon characters, and original characters. It's a simple process of filling out a character form and waiting for them to be accepted.
Every now and then a member completes a character form and is accepted, but for whatever reason is unable to play the character. Well, their loss can be your gain. The forms of inactive characters are moved into the "Adoptable Character" thread. This means that all you have to do is claim a character that already has a filled out form
Allright, so you've filled out the form and your character has been accepted. This is when most people get a little stuck, but you don't have to. The best way to get started is to jump into an existing thread, or create your own. After being accepted feel free to PM me if you need suggestions as to where your character should start. If you have any questions about the plot, again, feel free to PM me.
If you're still unsure as to where to start out, or if your character is just feeling a bit idle, please be sure to check out this thread.
And this forum has something that many do not! Boredom happens to the best of us, and sometimes we feel like having a little random fun with our characters. For this reason, this site features a "Roleplay for Fun", section. These roleplays are often pretty goofy, and give us a chance to lighten up every now and then. The roleplays have no affect on the major storyline.
Allright, that should cover the basics, now for a little bit more.
Signature/Avatar Requests
Whether you have an original character, or a cannon, it is likely that you would like a character banner and an avatar to go with it. Luckily, we have Eric on our side, who will be glad to create on for you.
