Heira shook her head. "Nah. You need it. I can tell." she said. She placed a hand on her hip. "Me and Mike were just walking. I don't know. It seemed like you disappeared. That's why we have to keep close." she told the girl.

"Come on. We got to meet up at the Statue with everyone." Heira told her.

Tesser nodded importantly and slid her hand into Heira's. Walking out of the biulding leaving the cashier lady only slightly confused. Seeing Mike (mitch? I'm a little confused on his name) standing outside as if he'de been waiting for them she smilied and took his hand her her last free one. Skipping between the two older adults she sang nonsense nursury rhymes.

Looking up at the statue of liberty with the two almost-adults on either side of her, the Bronze Lady didn't look near as frightening as she normally did.

"Maybe I should explain," said Jo. "I'm fighting against a man named Cold One. About five years ago I stole something from him and he's been trying to get revenge. This is just his most recent attempt to kill me." Jo looked around at all of them, wondering if she should go into more detail.

Jo sighed. "The thing I stole from him is apparently very important. It might have the ability to expand his powers." She brushed some of her short hair out of her face and smiled weakly. "Could anyone give me a hand to headquarters?"
